Nzinga Dance

Celebrating Afro-Caribbean culture through dance, movement and creative workshops.

Alongside teaching pole fitness, I also work with Nzinga Dance Company as a Dance Tutor and Performer, specialising in Afro-Caribbean traditional and modern dance.

With Nzinga Dance, I’ve had the privilege of performing and teaching at festivals, schools, and cultural celebrations across the UK, including Edinburgh’s Windrush 75th Anniversary Celebrations, BBC’s Dance Around the World series for CBeebies, The London Museum Docklands’ Caribbean Voices: Shaping Docklands exhibition, and many more.

Our work also includes creative workshops, such as cultural arts and crafts, carnival-inspired sessions, and themed community classes, working with all ages across schools, community groups and public events.

Whether I’m teaching cultural dance, creative workshops, or pole fitness, my aim is always the same: to create an uplifting and inclusive space where people feel welcomed, inspired and free to express themselves creatively 😊!
